You can enter the fax number using the numeric keys, abbreviated numbers, one-touch keys and the address book. Chain dial keys can be used as well. 14 Press the [Finish dest. Once you are finished making all of the modification that you want, go directly to step 18. 16 Enter the abbreviated number of an unregistered speed-dial key (0001 - Register the dial. Program Dial(Send) 0006. 1000). Abbreviation Back Enter using # key. NOTE: Once a 4-digit number is entered, that number may be changed using the [+] and [-] keys. 0006. The message display will return to the same screen as was displayed in step 3. If you want to continue modifying other program keys, repeat steps 3 through 18. If you are finished deleting program keys, press the Reset key. Using a Program Key 1 If the operation involves the transmission of documents, set the documents you want to transmit. If it involves a polling reception, go directly to step 5. 2 If you want to change the transmission conditions, such as the resolution and contrast, press the [TX setting] key. If you do NOT want to change the current conditions, go directly to step 5. 3 Press the key that corresponds to the desired item and change the information as desired. (To change each transmission condition, refer to pages 2-5 and 2-6.) 5-48
