5 Select how you want the camera to behave upon receiving alarm input (ACTION). OFF: Disables the camera action when an alarm signal is input. PRESET: Upon receiving an alarm input, the camera moves to the preset position that has the same number as the alarm number. To use this function, you must first configure preset positions so that their numbers correspond to those of alarm input. SEQ1-4: Starts the operation in the sequential modes 1 to 4. PAN1-4 Starts the operation in the auto pan modes 1 to 4. TOUR1-4 Starts the operation in the tour modes 1 to 4. 6 Specify whether or not to return to the previous operating conditions upon completion of an alarm action (RETURN). OFF: Keeps the current condition after receiving an alarm input. ON: Returns to the previous operating conditions before an alarm action took place (AUTO RETURN). If you set [RETURN] to "ON", the system will return to the previous operating conditions before an alarm action took place, when the alarm duration (DURATION) expires. If another alarm input is received during the time specified in the [DURATION] setting, an action will be made according to the last alarm received. If the system is powered off while an alarm action is taking place, it will restart in either of the following modes when turned on: When [RETURN] is set to "ON": Restarts to perform the previous operating conditions before an alarm was received. When [RETURN] is set to "OFF": Restarts to perform the alarm action that is specified in [ACTION]. Follow the same steps to configure the alarm inputs 2 - 4. To set the system not to receive any alarm signal during the PTZ operation and for a specific time after the operation, select the alarm-disabled period after PTZ operation from the pull-down menu in [ALARM DISABLE] at the lowermost part of the ALARM SETTINGS screen. This setting will be applied to all the alarm signals, regardless of whether they are detected via alarm input terminals or the built-in motion sensor. OFF, 1MIN, 2MIN, 3MIN, 4MIN, 5MIN, 6MIN, 7MIN, 8MIN, 9MIN, 10MIN This camera offers the built-in motion sensor function that automatically detects motion in the subject. The motion sensor detects an alarm condition in two ways as follows.
