DGS-3130 Series Layer 3 Stackable Managed Switch Web UI Reference Guide Parameter Message TX Interval Message TX Hold Multiplier ReInit Delay TX Delay Description Enter the interval between consecutive transmissions of LLDP advertisements on each physical interface. The range is from 5 to 32768 seconds. Enter the multiplier on the LLDPDUs transmission interval that used to calculate the TTL value of an LLDPDU. This value must be between 2 and 10. Enter the delay value for LLDP initialization on an interface. This value must be between 1 and 10 seconds. Enter the delay value for sending successive LLDPDUs on an interface. The valid values are from 1 to 8192 seconds and should not be greater than onefourth of the transmission interval timer. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. LLDP Port Settings This window is used to display and configure the LLDP port settings. To view the following window, click L2 Features > LLDP > LLDP Port Settings, as shown below: Figure 5-80 LLDP Port Settings Window The fields that can be configured are described below: Parameter Unit From Port - To Port Notification Subtype Admin State Description Select the Switch unit that will be used for this configuration here. Select the appropriate port range used for the configuration here. Select to enable or disable the notification feature here. Select the subtype of LLDP TLV(s). Options to choose from are MAC Address, and Local. Select the local LLDP agent and allow it to send and receive LLDP frames on the port. Options to choose from are TX, RX, TX and RX, and Disabled.  TX - The local LLDP agent can only transmit LLDP frames.  RX - The local LLDP agent can only receive LLDP frames.  TX and RX - The local LLDP agent can both transmit and receive LLDP frames.  Disabled - The local LLDP agent can neither transmit nor receive LLDP frames. The default value is TX and RX. 158
