DGS-3130 Series Layer 3 Stackable Managed Switch Web UI Reference Guide Figure 6-5 Gratuitous ARP Window The fields that can be configured are described below: Parameter IP Gratuitous ARP State Gratuitous ARP Trap State IP Gratuitous ARP DadReply State Gratuitous ARP Learning State Description Select to enable or disable the learning of gratuitous ARP packets in the ARP cache table. Select to enable or disable the gratuitous ARP feature trap state here. Select to enable or disable the IP gratuitous ARP Dad-reply state. Select to enable or disable the gratuitous ARP learning state. Normally, the system will only learn ARP entries from ARP reply packets or a normal ARP request packet that asks for the MAC address of the Switch IP address. This option used to enable or disable the learning of ARP entries based on received gratuitous ARP packets. The gratuitous ARP packet is sent by a source IP address and is identical to the IP that the packet is querying. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. Click the Edit button to re-configure the specific entry. Enter a page number and click the Go button to navigate to a specific page when multiple pages exist. After clicking the Edit button, the field that can be configured for Gratuitous ARP Send Interval is described below: Parameter Interval Time Description Enter the gratuitous ARP sending interval time, in seconds, here. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. IPv6 Neighbor This window is used to display and configure the IPv6 neighbor settings.
