Error code Description Action 8603 Pointing-device error. 1. Reseat the pointing device. 2. Replace the following components one at a time, in the order shown, restarting the server each time: a. Pointing device b. (Trained service technician only) system board 00019xxx Processor x is not functioning or failed built in self test. 1. (Trained service technician only) Reseat microprocessor x. 2. Replace the following components one at a time, in the order shown, restarting the server each time: a. (Trained service technician only) Microprocessor x. b. (Trained service technician only) System board 00180xxx A PCI adapter requested a resource that is not available. 1. See http://www.ibm.com/servers/eserver/support/ xseries/index.html and search for MIGR-61663 for additional information on the error code. 2. Make sure that the BIOS code is at the latest level. 3. Run the Configuration/Setup Utility program to verify that the interrupt resource settings are correct. 4. Reseat the failing adapter (if installed). 5.
