The AC Adapter connector will be damaged if it remains connected to the computer. Detach the external diskette drive from the Port Replicator with Advanced EtherJet Feature before you hot-dock the computer to the UltraBase-port replicator assembly. The external diskette drive will be damaged if it remains attached to the port replicator. Hot-docking Warm-docking Condition when docking The computer is operating. The computer is in suspend mode. (When you dock the computer, the system resumes and starts processing for docking.)
