Extending features: UltraBase and Port Replicator with Advanced EtherJet Feature Docking the computer to the UltraBase-Port Replicator with Advanced EtherJet Feature assembly If you operate the computer by ac power, switch the plug of the AC Adapter from the computer to the UltraBase before the attachment. The AC Adapter connector will be damaged if it remains connected to the computer. Detach the external diskette drive from the Port Replicator with Advanced EtherJet Feature before you hot-dock the computer to the UltraBase-port replicator assembly. The external diskette drive will be damaged if it remains attached to the port replicator. Hot-docking Warm-docking Condition when docking The computer is operating. The computer is in suspend mode. (When you dock the computer, the system resumes and starts processing for docking.)
