Extending features: UltraBase and ThinkPad 560 Port Replicator You can secure the devices in the bay of the UltraBase, your computer, or both by using the lock at the bottom of the UltraBase. The lock has three positions, that are called (A), (B), and (C) in this user's reference. (A) Unlock position: If the lever is in this position, nothing is secured. (B) Bay lock position: If the lever is in this position, the UltraslimBay lock and the bay lock are locked. Although you can remove your computer from the UltraBase, you cannot remove a device from the UltraBase.
