ProSafe Gigabit Quad WAN SSL VPN Firewall SRX5308 Reference Manual Configuring Routing Information Protocol Routing Information Protocol (RIP), RFC 2453, is an Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP) that is commonly used in internal networks (LANs). RIP enables a router to exchange its routing information automatically with other routers, to dynamically adjust its routing tables, and to adapt to changes in the network. RIP is disabled by default. To enable and configure RIP: 1. Select Network Configuration > Routing from the menu. 2. Click the RIP Configuration option arrow at the top right of the Routing screen.
