Description Use stp root primary to configure the device as the root bridge. Use undo stp root to restore the default. By default, a device is not a root bridge. To set an MSTP device as the root bridge in a specific MSTI, use this command with the MSTI specified. To set an MSTP device in the CIST or an STP/RSTP device as the root bridge, use this command without specifying any MSTI.
