System ❖ Page Size You can select the default paper size. • The paper size you can select is as follows: 11×17, 81/2×14, 81/2×11, 51/2×81/2, 71/4×101/2, 8×13, 81/2×13, 81/4×13, A3, B4JIS, A4, B5JIS, A5, A6, Custom Size The default setting is A4 (Metric version) / 81/2×11 (Inch version). ❖ Letterhead Setting You can rotate original images when printing. When printing, original images are always rotated by 180 degrees. Therefore, output might not be as expected when printing onto letterhead or preprinted paper requiring orientation. Using this function, you can specify image rota- tion. The default setting is Off. When set to "Off", original images are rotated by 180 degrees. When set to Auto Detect, the machine detects a letterhead or preprinted pa- per automatically, and does not rotate the image. When set to On (Always), the machine does not rotate the image. This function reduces printing speed. 5 ❖ Bypass Tray Setting Priority Specify whether (Printer) Driver / Command or Machine Settings, has priority for determining the paper size for the bypass tray. The default setting is Driver / Command. ❖ Edge to Edge Print You can select whether or not to print on the entire sheet. The default setting is Off. The 5 mm margin along the edges may not be printed properly. ❖ Default Printer Language You can set the default printer language if the machine cannot find the printer language automatically. This menu will appear under the following conditions: • The PostScript 3 option is installed. • Both the PostScript 3 and the PCL options are installed. When the PostScript 3 option is installed, the default setting is PS. When both the PostScript 3 and the PCL options are installed, the default setting is PCL. ❖ Tray Switching You can set to switch the paper tray. The default setting is Off.
