Press the Power On/Standby button. 5. The Power On/Standby LED turns amber when the server is powered down in this manner, indicating that auxiliary power is still present in the system. When you remove power from the system completely by removing all power cords, the LED turns off. WARNING: Pressing the Power On/Standby button to power down the server removes power from most areas of the server. This process may take 30 seconds. Portions of the power supply and some internal circuitry remain active until the AC power cord is disconnected.
