Note: If you enter the Enter PIN prompt in error or need to exit from this prompt, you must wait until the No Jobs Found. Retry? message displays and then press Stop. 3 Press Select. The following prompt appears on the display: Enter PIN: =____ You are required to enter the four-digit PIN associated with your Confidential Job next to the equal sign (=). Each digit must be a number from 1 to 6. At this point, the buttons on the operator panel cease to function as before, such as scrolling through the menus. You press the numbers on the operator panel like pressing numbers on a calculator. To simplify the operator panel, the illustration shows just the numbers and not the names of the operator panel buttons. As you press each button to enter each digit of your PIN, an asterisk (*) appears on the display. If you make a mistake entering your PIN, for instance, if you enter a number incorrectly, continue to press any of the buttons until the message No Jobs Found. Retry? displays. Press Go to refresh the operator panel and the Enter PIN: prompt displays again. If you enter a PIN that does not match any Confidential Job in printer memory, the message No Jobs Found. Retry? displays. Press Go to refresh the operator panel and display the Enter PIN: prompt again or press Stop to cancel the entry of a PIN. Once you successfully enter the PIN, the printer checks the PIN with each stored PIN associated with each Confidential Job in printer memory. If the number matches, you are given access to the next level of the CONFIDENTIAL JOB menu item where you can select to print or delete jobs matching the PIN. 112 Chapter 3: Using the Operator Panel and Menus
