280 Glossary precharger wire. A wire inside the print unit that electrically charges the photoconductor during the printing process. Print and Hold job. A print job sent from your software application, stored in printer memory, and accessed at a later time from the CONFIDENTIAL JOB menu item or the HELD JOBS menu item.
