The software indicates whether the license installed successfully on the node. Checking the license status Check your license status at any time to find out if it is valid, when it expires, and how much bandwidth is licensed, by right-clicking the desired node. The current license status and the average monitored bandwidth of a node are also displayed on the console when the node is selected in the topology view. See "About licensing" on page 91. To check the license status 1 On Devices, click the 7100 Series node for which you wish to retrieve licensing information. 2 In the right pane, in the License Status table, review the following information: Column License Status License Expires On Fulfillment ID Licensed Bandwidth Current Bandwidth Description The status of the license (valid or not licensed) is displayed. The expiration date for the license is displayed, if applicable. The fulfillment ID number identifies the license. Used when requesting an additive license. The additive license has its own fulfillment ID. All fulfillment IDs on the appliance are linked. The bandwidth for which this node was licensed is displayed. Units are Mbps. You are notified if the average monitored bandwidth exceeds the licensed bandwidth. The current bandwidth for all combined interfaces.

To check the license status

information:

Description
License Status
The status of the license (valid or not licensed) is
displayed.
License Expires On
The expiration date for the license is displayed, if
applicable.
Fulfillment ID
The fulfillment ID number identifies the license.
Used when requesting an additive license. The
additive license has its own fulfillment ID. All
fulfillment IDs on the appliance are linked.
Licensed Bandwidth
The bandwidth for which this node was licensed is
displayed. Units are Mbps. You are notified if the
average monitored bandwidth exceeds the
licensed bandwidth.
Current Bandwidth
The current bandwidth for all combined
interfaces.
