Licensing 99 Calling for help ■ Symantec System ID: The Symantec System ID from License Information. See "Determining the Symantec System ID" on page 94. ■ Fulfillment ID: The current fulfillment ID displayed by clicking the 7100 Series node object in the Network Security console. Note: A license file that was issued for a particular machine cannot be used on another machine. 2 Access the Symantec licensing Web site at https://licensing.symantec.com 3 Follow the instructions on the Web page to complete and submit the online licensing form. Installing the additive license file After you receive the email containing the additive license file, install the file onto the 7100 Series node from the Network Security console. To install the additive license file 1 Save the license file to the computer where you installed the Network Security console. If you wish, rename the file with a descriptive name. 2 Log in to the Network Security console with the superuser account. 3 On Devices, right-click the 7100 Series node object. 4 Click Admin > Licensing in the pop-up menus. 5 In License Information, do one of the following: ■ Click Browse to navigate to the location of the license file and select the file. ■ Type in the file name directly. 6 Click Submit. The software indicates whether the license installed successfully on the node.
