Re-imaging and unconfiguring 169 Unconfiguring Symantec Network Security To unconfigure from the Network Security console 1 Do one of the following: ■ On Devices, right-click the 7100 Series node object on which to unconfigure, then click Configuration > 7100 Series Configuration > Unconfigure. ■ On Devices, click Configuration > Node > 7100 Series Configuration > Unconfigure and choose a node from the pull-down list in Select Node. Click OK. 2 In Unconfigure, read the message and click Yes to unconfigure Symantec Network Security. The appliance uninstalls Symantec Network Security and reboots. After rebooting, it is ready for initial configuration. See "About initializing Symantec Network Security" on page 67. Running Unconfig SNS on the LCD The Unconfig SNS command is available on the LCD run menu. To run Unconfig SNS on the LCD run menu 1 Press any button to display the LCD run menu. 2 If the LCD screen displays Locked, use the arrow buttons to enter the secadm password and press e. The up/down arrow buttons scroll through characters and numbers, and the right/left arrow buttons move the cursor. 3 When you see the first menu item, for example: SNS7120 1. Lock LCD press the down arrow button to scroll down through the menu choices. 4 When you see, for example: SNS7120 7. Unconfig SNS press e. 5 The LCD screen displays: Are you sure? OK [Cancel] Press the left arrow button to move the cursor to OK, and press e. The appliance uninstalls Symantec Network Security and reboots. After rebooting, it is ready for initial configuration. Unconfiguring Symantec Network Security
To unconfigure from the Network Security console

Do one of the following:
On
Devices
, right-click the 7100 Series node object on which to
unconfigure, then click
Configuration

7100 Series Configuration >
Unconfigure
.
On

, click
Configuration

Node
>
7100 Series Configuration >
Unconfigure
and choose a node from the pull-down list in

OK.
