2. Put the top end of the original media stack into the ADF input tray, with the media stack face down and the first page to be scanned at the bottom of the stack. Figure 2-8. To prevent damaging the device, do not use an original that has correction fluid, correction tape, or staples. If you moved the ADF media lever to the right in step 1, move it back to the left when you have finished printing. Printing on regular media with the ADF media lever moved to the right can cause jams.
