Parameters b-node: Specifies the broadcast node. A b-node client sends the destination name in a broadcast message to get the name-to-IP mapping from a server. h-node: Specifies the hybrid node. An h-node client unicasts the destination name to a WINS server. If it does not receive a response, the h-node client broadcasts the destination name to get the mapping from a server. m-node: Specifies the mixed node. An m-node client broadcasts the destination name. If it does not receive a response, the m-node client unicasts the destination name to the WINS server to get the mapping. p-node: Specifies the peer-to-peer node. A p-node client sends the destination name in a unicast message to get the mapping from the WINS server. Usage guidelines If you use the command multiple times, the most recent configuration takes effect.
