Ensure there is no media in Tray 1 (if there is paper in the Tray 1, the printer will draw from there first). Printer does not recognize the Envelope Feeder. 1. Ensure the Envelope Feeder is firmly seated, then switch the printer off, then on again. If the printer still does not recognize the Envelope Feeder, contact your dealer or authorized HP service provider. 2.
