With this setup, every other printed image is oriented upside-down so that pages can be flipped through, as for a calendar. B Long-edge portrait orientation This is the conventional layout used. With this setup, every printed image is oriented right side up. C Short-edge portrait orientation This kind of layout is often used with clipboards. When short-edge binding in portrait orientation is selected, every other printed image is oriented upside-down. D Short-edge landscape orientation This layout is a variation that is also used.
