Restarting the MultiPASS Connection If you reconnect the MultiPASS to the port and want to begin using the Desktop Manager again, the connection between your MultiPASS and MultiPASS system automatically restarts when you restart your computer. You can also restart the MultiPASS connection without restarting your computer. To restart the MultiPASS connection without restarting your computer: 1. If you are using Windows NT, restart the MultiPASS Service. (For details, see your Windows NT documentation.) If you are using Windows 98 or Windows 95, skip to Step 2. 2. If not currently open, open the MultiPASS Status Monitor window. If the MultiPASS Status Monitor is already open, display the Status Monitor menu and click Reconnect. n The Reconnect button will be active is the printer cable is connected to another parallel port device while the Status Monitor is running.
