3 Accessing the NAS Manager Accessing PowerVault NAS Manager The PowerVault NAS Manager is a web-based user interface that enables you to configure and monitor your PowerVault NX3500 storage system. Browser Requirements • Firefox 3.6 or later • Internet Explorer 7.0 or later The NAS Manager can be displayed at resolutions of 1024 x 768 pixels or above. It is recommended to display the web interface at High Color, 16-bit resolution. Also, disable any type of pop-up blocker application while using the web interface because it may cause unpredictable behavior. NOTE: JavaScript must be enabled in your browser for NAS Manager to function properly. NAS Manager Overview The workspace comprises of the entire management web interface. The workspace is made up of: • Action bar • Admin tabs • Admin tree • Toolbar • Page • Search bar Accessing the NAS Manager 59
