Optional Accessories The following camera accessories are sold separately. Note that availability varies by area, and some accessories may no longer be available. Power Supplies Battery Pack NB-13L zzRechargeable lithium-ion battery Battery Charger CB-2LH/CB-2LHE zzCharger for Battery Pack NB-13L ●● The message [Battery communication error] is displayed if you use a non-genuine Canon battery pack, and user response is required. Note that Canon shall not be liable for any damages resulting from accidents, such as malfunction or fire, that occur due to use of non-genuine Canon battery packs. ●● The battery pack includes a convenient cover which you can attach to know the charge status at a glance. Attach the cover so that ▲ is visible on a charged battery pack, and attach it so that ▲ is not visible on an uncharged battery pack. Compact Power Adapter CA-DC30/ CA-DC30E zzInsert the included battery pack into the camera for charging. Interface Cable IFC-600PCU (sold separately) is required to connect the adapter to the camera. ●● The battery charger and compact power adapter can be used in areas with 100 - 240 V AC power (50/60 Hz). ●● For power outlets in a different format, use a commercially available adapter for the plug. Never use an electrical transformer designed for traveling, which may damage the battery pack.
