Removal and Installation 8. Remove the 5.5 mm nut from the right hand side of the Printer. 9. Remove the Encoder Strip from the Printer. 1 Lift off pins 2 Pull strip out Installation of Encoder Strip WARNING When Installing the Encoder Strip, make sure it is placed in the Encoder Sensor on the rear of the Carriage Assembly as shown below.
