Video phone When you make a video call, you can see the person you are talking to on the screen. By using Video phone you can: • Explore the application in Demo mode (off-line). • Zoom the outgoing video. • Show both incoming and outgoing video. This chapter describes the use of the application with the flip open, unless otherwise stated. Demo mode When you open Video phone, the application starts in demo mode (off-line), which means that you can explore the functionality without initiating a call. All options are available. Making a video call Before making a video call Before you make a video call make sure that: • Both you and the called party have 3G SIM cards and 3G phones. • A 3G network is available. Note: This function is network- or operator-dependent. The service may not always be available in all countries or when you are roaming. Please contact your operator for information about your subscription and video calls. Making a call from the application Select Video phone and choose the appropriate option: • Flip closed - enter the number from the keypad and select OK. • Flip open - tap to bring up the Virtual keypad. Enter the phone number and select OK. Making a call from standby You can make a video call from the standby view: • Flip closed - enter the number on the keypad and select Video call. • Flip open - select the Phone shortcut and tap the video call tab .
