Mita Copystar warrants your plain paper copier against any defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of installation by an Authorized Dealer. In the event your copier is found to be defective within the warranty period, Mita Copystar's only obligation and your exclusive remedy shall be replacement of any defective parts. It is understood that Mita Copystar shall have no obligation to furnish labor. Photo conductors, lamps and other consumable products are specifically excluded from this warranty. The warranty on the photo conductor is limited to proper performance at the time of installation. This warranty is valid only as to the original retail purchaser of a new copier in the United States of America, or Canada based upon the country of purchase. In order to obtain performance of this warranty, the original retail purchaser must immediately notify the Authorized Dealer from whom the copier was purchased of the defects. If the dealer from whom you purchased the copier machine is not able to provide warranty service, write to Mita Copystar at the below address, for the name and address of an Authorized Dealer in your area. This warranty does not cover copiers : a) which have become damaged due to operator negligence, misuse, accidents improper storage or unusual physical or electrical stress ; b) which do not work properly because of the use of supplies not meeting Mita Copystar's specifications ; c) which have been serviced by a technician not employed by Mita Copystar, or an Authorized Dealer ; or d) which have had the serial number modified, altered or removed. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state, or province to province. Neither the seller, nor any other person is authorized to extend the time period, or expand this warranty on behalf of Mita Copystar. THIS WARRANTY IS MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND (CONDITIONS), EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND MITA COPYSTAR SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY (OR CONDITION) OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXTEND TO, AND MITA COPYSTAR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR, ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE WHICH MAY ARISE OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE COPIER.
