106 3 System management tools Settings The Settings page includes two tabs - Schedule and Options. The Schedule tab allows you to specify a backup mode for the FileSafe Express and the Options tab allows you to configure the FileSafe Express settings. Schedule When performing backup you can choose from the following backup modes: • Continuous - Backs up any file in the backup list whenever it is changed. This is the default mode when FileSafe Express is first installed. After your initial backup job, FileSafe Express goes into standby mode and monitors your file system in the background. When you create or modify a file in a folder that is included in the backup list, FileSafe Express automatically backs up that file. • Scheduled - Lets you select daily or weekly backup of the backup list, including a time of day. Daily backup lets you specify an interval between backups (backup will occur every N days) and the time backup should start. Weekly backup lets you specify one or more days on which backup should occur, as well as the time backup should start.
