228 7 Using SAN Disk Manager 3 In the right pane, right-click the license that you want to activate and click Online Activation. The license is activated, and the Activated column displays Yes. To activate a license without an Internet connection: If your license wasn't activated because your computer has no Internet connection, you must obtain a signature file using another computer that does have both an Internet connection and e-mail. 1 Open SAN Disk Manager (as described in "Starting SAN Disk Manager" on page 212). 2 In the navigation tree, expand SAN Disk Manager and click Licenses. 3 In the right pane, right-click the license that you want to activate and click Offline Activation. 4 Click Export License File. 5 On the Save As dialog box, select one of the following locations and then click Save: • A shared folder accessible to both your computer and a computer that has Internet and e-mail access • A floppy disk • A USB disk 6 On the Offline Activation dialog box, click Close. 7 If you did not save the file to a shared folder, take the floppy disk or USB disk to a computer with Internet and e-mail access. 8 From the computer that has Internet and e-mail access, e-mail the license file to the following address: [email protected] 9 When you receive an e-mail response, save the returned signature file back to the shared folder, floppy disk, or USB disk. 10 If you did not save the file to a shared folder, take the floppy disk or USB disk back to the computer where the host application is installed. 11 In SAN Disk Manager, expand SAN Disk Manager in the navigation tree and click Licenses. 12 In the right pane, right-click the license that you want to activate and click Offline Activation.
