117 Menu bar The menu bar at the top of the window provides access to several functions that are common to all Microsoft Management Consolebased applications, such as exiting the application. • File - This menu includes commands related to Microsoft Management Console (MMC), such as creating, opening, and saving MMC console files, add or remove snap-in console, set MMC console options and exit the application. • Action - Functions that are specific to SAN Disk Manager typically appear in the Action menu. The Action menu is context-sensitive; the items that appear here change, depending on which item in the application window has focus. For example, when you click Disks in the navigation tree, the Action menu displays New Disk. When you click a disk in the right pane, the Action menu displays Expand Disk, Create Snapshot, Remove Disk, and Properties. • View - This menu controls how information is displayed in the details pane. • Favorites - This menu includes commands for adding items to the Favorites list and organize the Favorites list. • Window - This menu provides options to manage the windows displayed by MMC. • Help - This menu provides access to the SAN Disk Manager online help and displays program version number and copyright.
