❍ Orientation Select the orientation you want. Portrait prints your document upright while Landscape prints it sideways. ❍ Photocopy Reduction Use this selection only when a value less than 100% is entered in the Reduce/Enlarge field. With Photocopy Reduction checked, your document will print in the center of the page, as shown in the following examples. NORMAL (100%) 50% REDUCTION WITH PHOTOCOPY REDUCTION 50% REDUCTION WITHOUT PHOTOCOPY REDUCTION Printing ❍ Fractional Widths This feature provides for better compatibility with older applications by helping your Macintosh® determine the proper spacing between words. When Fractional Widths is checked, it forces the use of fractional character widths, even if your application does not support this feature.
