Using Optional Conversion Lenses Using Optional Conversion Lenses You can use the following optional conversion lenses with this camcorder. Before you attach a conversion lens, perform the procedure below to optimize the autofocus and minimum object distance for the particular accessory. 75 Operating modes: Optional Conversion Lens TL-U58 Tele-converter WA-U58 Wide Attachment Focal Length Factor Approx. 1.5x Approx. 0.8x Minimum Focusing Distance Approx. 130 cm (4.3 ft.) throughout the zoom range Approx. 60 cm (2.0 ft.) throughout the zoom range 1 Select [Conversion Lens]. > [v ' Camera Setup] > [Conversion Lens] 2 Select [TL-U58] or [WA-U58] and then press SET. • The image stabilization method, minimum focusing distance and the approximate distance to the subject displayed on the screen will change depending on the conversion lens selected. • Select [Off] if you do not intend to use a conversion lens. NOTES • Vignetting may occur when taking wide angle shots with the optional TL-U58 Tele-converter.
