Each of the dial keys has multiple characters assigned to it. To enter a character, press the appropriate dial key until the character you want appears. To enter another character that is assigned to the same key, first press (RIGHT) to move the cursor to the right. Character Tables You can enter alphabetic characters and digits using the dial keys. Pressing a dial key repeatedly displays different characters, as shown in the following tables. While entering characters, you can move the cursor with (LEFT) and (RIGHT) on the Navigator key. On the Calls screen, the Feature Key screen (in Call List mode), and the Programming screen, you can delete a character by pressing (TRANSFER). On the other screens, you can delete a character by pressing (LEFT) on the Navigator key. For a list of available characters, refer to the following pages.
