Use computers to individually delete the contents of an SD memory card. Initializing the KX-NT400 You can initialize the KX-NT400 to reset all settings to their default values. Restarting the KX-NT400 Automatic Restarting When you change certain settings, the KX-NT400 restarts automatically. Manual Restarting (System Reset) When the settings for the KX-NT400 have been changed via the PC Maintenance Console or changes have been made to the PBX's configuration, the KX-NT400 requires manual restarting. To perform a manual restart, disconnect the Ethernet cable (when using PoE) or unplug the AC adaptor from the power outlet. The KX-NT400 does not have a system reset button. Some examples of when the KX-NT400 needs to be restarted are listed below: • The Forward/Do Not Disturb settings have been changed via the PC Maintenance Console. • The presence status settings have been changed via the PC Maintenance Console. • The floating extension number of the simplified voice message system (SVM) or Panasonic Voice Processing System (VPS) has changed.
