Chapter 7 The Phonebook 2 Either use the Up and Down keys to scroll through the entries, or use the alphanumeric keypad to enter the first letter of a contact's name. For example, press the 2 key three times to enter a "C". The cursor jumps to the first entry starting with that letter (if no entries start with that letter, nothing happens). The numbers that display to the left of a contact's phone number are index numbers only - you cannot use them to select an entry.
