TRAY SETTINGS FOR TRAY 1 AND TRAY 2 LOADING PAPER Up to 1200 sheets of 8-1/2" x 11" or A4 size paper can be loaded in tray 1. Up to 800 sheets of 8-1/2" x 11" or A4 size paper can be loaded in tray 2. For detailed information on the paper that can be loaded, see the specifications in the Safety Guide and "Paper Tray Settings" in the System Settings Guide. Pull out tray 1 - tray 2. Gently pull the tray out until it stops. 1 Fan the paper. Fan the paper well before loading it. If the paper is not fanned, 2 multiple sheets may feed at once and cause a misfeed. ● Tray 1 3 ● Tray 2 Load paper in the left and right trays. Load the paper with the print side face up. The stack must not be higher than the indicator line (maximum of 1200 sheets). Indicator line Indicator line Raise the paper guide and load the paper with the print side face up. The stack must not be higher than the indicator line (maximum of 800 sheets). Be sure to return the paper guide to its original position after loading the paper. 27
