Creating a new song Track recording 4 When each parameter has been set as required, move the cursor to the OK button and press the [ENTER] key. Next, a popup window will appear allowing you to specify settings that will be carried over from the current song. 6 The following items are available: • SCENE button............Scene memories • TEMPO button ...........Tempo map • LIBRARY button ........EQ, dynamics, effects, and channel libraries For example, if you have saved effect settings in a library for the current song and would like to use these settings for the new song as well, you would turn on the LIBRARY button. 5 Select the buttons of the items you want to carry over from the current song, move the cursor to the OK button, and press the [ENTER] key. The NAME EDIT popup window will appear, allowing you to enter a name for the song. 6 Enter a name for the song (for details on name entry refer to page 32). NOTE • A new song cannot be given the same name as an existing song. • The song name can also be edited later (→ p. 169). 7 To create the new song, move the cursor to the OK button and press the [ENTER] key. A new song will be created, and you will return to the SONG screen Song List page. If you move the cursor to the CANCEL button (instead of the OK button) and press the [ENTER] key, you will return to the SONG screen Song List page without creating a new song. 48 AW2400 Owner's Manual
