Using the Copier Function E Press the {U}{T} keys to select original orientation from [Portrait] or [Land- scape], and then press the {OK} key. F Confirm the setting, and then press the { } key. Note ❒ Use the following keys to cancel settings: • { }: Cancels the changes made to settings and returns the display to the previous screen. 4 • {Clear/Stop}: Cancels the changes made to settings and returns the display to the initial screen. ❒ After this function is set, all subsequent copies will be 2-sided, unless you cancel the setting by selecting [Off] for [Duplex Copy]. ❒ Setting this function automatically disables the [ID Card Copy] setting. Making 2-sided Copies Manually (Type 1 model) This section describes how to make 2-sided copies manually. A Place the odd-numbered pages of the original in the ADF. B Press the {Copy} key. C Press the {Start} key. D Sort the output paper in reverse order. E Load the output paper into the current tray. If using tray 1 or tray 2, reload the paper with the blank side down; if using the bypass tray, blank side up. Make sure to load paper with the top and bottom sides oriented correctly to avoid misprints. F Place the even-numbered pages of the original in the ADF. G Press the {Start} key. 128
