Selecting the output bin The printer has several output locations: the top (face-down) bin, the left (face-up) bin, and the optional output devices. left (face-up) bin top (face-down) bin optional output device q The top bin (also referred to as the standard output bin or the face-down bin) is located at the top of the printer and is the factory default bin. This bin can receive up to 500 sheets in the correct order (the same order in which they were printed) as they exit the printer. A sensor causes the printer to stop when the bin is full. Printing continues when you empty or reduce the amount of media in the bin. q The left bin (also referred to as the face-up bin) is located on the left side of the printer or optional output device. This bin holds up to 100 sheets in the reverse order from the order in which they were printed. q Use the optional output devices to stack printed sheets, staple them, or make booklets. The features of the output devices vary depending on which device is installed. 122 Selecting the output bin ENWW
