The MANUALLY FEED [TYPE] [SIZE] message cannot be cleared. q Press (SELECT) to clear the message. q A previous print job might still be in the printer buffer. q Make sure that tray 1 has the correct media size loaded. (See "To load media in tray 1" on page 33.) Control panel settings, such as RESOLUTION or ORIENTATION, do not work or are ignored. Software-application commands override control panel settings (See "Using control panel menus" on page 62 for information about how your software application works with control panel settings). The disk is not initialized Use the Windows-based HP Web Jetadmin or the Macintosh- (DISK X NOT based HP LaserJet Utility to initialize the disk.
