CAUTION 3,000-sheet stapler/stacker The 3,000-sheet stapler/stacker (product number C8085A) can stack and staple documents. The face-down bin holds up to 3,000 sheets of letter- or A4-size media (up to 1,500 sheets of 11 by 17- or A3-size media). Stapling The 3,000-sheet stapler/stacker uses a replaceable 5,000-staple cartridge (product number C8091A). Up to 50 sheets of 75 g/m2 (20-lb bond) can be stapled. If the stack of media to be stapled is thicker than 5.5 mm (0.21 inches), the 3,000-sheet stapler/stacker does not staple the stack. Therefore, if you are using media that is heavier than 75 g/m2 (20-lb bond), the stapling capacity varies according to the weight of the media. Do not staple transparencies, labels, or card stock. Supported media The following table shows the media supported by each bin or feature of the 3,000-sheet stapler/stacker.
