11 11 Slide the new toner collection bottle down and snap it into place against the printer. Note If the bottle does not snap into place, make sure that the blue transfer cleaner handle and the green lever are in the up position. 12 Close the front doors. 12 13 Reattach any previously removed output device. 14 Do one of the following: If NEW CLEANING KIT appears on the control panel display, use (UP button) and (DOWN button) to scroll to YES, and then press (SELECT). The kit life count is automatically reset. 13 If NEW CLEANING KIT does not appear, press (SELECT) to open the menus. Use (UP button) and (DOWN button) to scroll to CONFIGURE DEVICE, then RESETS, and then RESET SUPPLIES. Scroll to NEW CLEANING KIT, and then select YES to reset the count. Note If you select NO or do not make a selection, and the cleaning kit is 14 at maximum life, the printer remains offline until you replace the kit and select YES. 6 Managing the printer 195
