Chapter 6 MtcDsl Messages IOPn.MtcDsl status: Invalid device entries in the IOP's configuration were pruned. This indicates an improperly set up device configuration. This problem may have occurred due to hand modifications of the Windows NT Registry. The problem may be fixed by re-running the HP NetServer AA Configuration Utility. Severity Error Description The Device Synchronization Layer has detected device configuration entries that are invalid. Hardware/Software This message occurs as the result of a configuration error. Action Run the HP NetServer AA Configuration Utility on each IOP. Delete and re-add each device. IOPn.MtcDsl status: Physical device phyDevName of logical device logDevName on IOPx is offline. Variables x - the ID of the IOP that originated the event Severity Informational Description This message is generated when the HP NetServer AA server tries to access a device that is not available. Related Messages IOPn.MtcDsl status: Physical device phyDevName of logical device logDevName on IOPx is online. IOPn.MtcScsiP status: Physical device phyDevName of logical device logDevName on IOPx has failed. Hardware/Software This message indicates an unavailable device. Action No action is required. In some circumstances, a device transitions to offline due to an error. If a device unexpectedly transitions to offline, examine the Windows NT Event Viewer for additional information. 105
