Chapter 13 MtcMon Messages IOPn.MtcMon Fault Handler status: The joining IOP has received a Fault Handler join request from another IOP, but the local IOP state is incorrect. Severity Error Description The local IOP received a network packet from another IOP, passing it information required for the local IOP to participate in an active Endurance system. However, the local IOP is already configured as part of an active Endurance system. This may be due to network cabling problems between separate Endurance systems. Related Messages IOPn.MtcMon Fault Handler status: The Fault Handlers have failed to exchange synchronization information during the merge process. Action • Check the network connections on the current system. In particular, check the IL connections to make sure that the IOP reporting the problem is connected to the other IOP in the system. • Also, check the IOPlink bindings on other IOPs in your network to make sure that IOPlink is not bound to the public network. • If the error recurs and you cannot find a network cabling or binding problem, contact your service provider for assistance. 200
