Chapter 13 MtcMon Messages IOPn.MtcMon status: ESIx is faulted and requires repair. Variables x - the ID of the Endurance System Interconnect (ESI) that is faulted Severity Error Description The ESI specified in the message has experienced one or more failures that prevent it from being used in the Endurance server configuration. The ESI remains in the faulted state until you resolve the situation. Often an IOP or CE is also removed when this message occurs. Related Messages IOPn.MtcMon status: IOPx has been removed from service. IOPn.MtcMon status: CEx has been removed from service. Hardware/Software This message is usually a result of a hardware failure. Action • Examine the event log for additional details about the reason for the failure. • Repair and/or replace any faulty hardware as necessary. • Once you resolve the condition, issue an ESI Enable Operation command. The Endurance server attempts to reconfigure as required. IOPn.MtcMon status: IL12 has been enabled by operator request. Severity Informational Description IL12 was enabled using the IL12 Enable command. IL12 was previously faulted and is now available. Related Messages IOPn.MtcMon status: IL12 is FAULTED and requires repair. Hardware/Software This message is generated as a result of issuing a software command. Action No action is required. 252
