Chapter 13 MtcMon Messages IOPn.MtcMon status: The CE operating system shutdown request completed successfully. Severity Informational Description This message is generated after successfully completing a CE_O/S Shutdown Operation command. Related Messages IOPn.MtcMon status: CE operating system shutdown has been requested by the operator. IOPn.MtcMon status: The Windows NT operating system on the CE(s) is being shut down. IOPn.MtcMon status: The Windows NT operating system on the active CE(s) has been shut down by operator request. IOPn.MtcMon status: CEx has been removed from service. Hardware/Software This message is generated as a result of the successful completion of a software process. Action • Unless this error occurs frequently, you can ignore it. • Otherwise, view the message data as Words. The last longword (8 bytes) of data should contain a Windows NT error code that can be used by your service provider to help diagnose the problem. IOPn.MtcMon status: The CE1 and CE2 PCI configurations do not match. Severity Error Description The PCI configurations of the two CEs do not match. CE synchronization cannot be performed until this condition is resolved. Hardware/Software This message is generated as a result of a CE hardware configuration error. Action • Shut down one or both CEs. • Reconfigure the hardware so the PCI configurations are identical. You may need to use the system BIOS setup to reset the PCI configuration, disable devices that are unsupported on the CEs, or assign identical resources to the MICs on both CEs. • Power up the CEs and allow them to synchronize. 284
