Hardware/Software This message is generated as a result of a software or hardware failure. In most cases, a hardware failure prevents you from using the CE. Action • Examine the event log for additional details about the reason for the failure. • If a hardware problem is indicated, repair or replace any affected hardware as necessary. • If a software problem is indicated, replace the software component or reconfigure the software as necessary. • Once you resolve the condition, issue a CE Enable Operation command for the faulted CE, and the Endurance server attempts to reconfigure the CE. 246
