Chapter 13 MtcMon Messages IOPn.MtcMon status: IOPx was removed because it failed to activate the CE Interconnect(s). Variables x - the ID of the IOP that was removed Severity Error Description At least one of the Interconnects to the specified IOP could not be activated during CE boot or CE synchronization. To complete booting or synchronization, the specified IOP was removed from service. When this error occurs, it is applied to a threshold. When the threshold is exceeded, the Interconnect is faulted. Related Messages IOPn.MtcMon status: IOPx has been removed from service. IOPn.MtcMon status: The boot process has started for CEx. IOPn.MtcMon status: The synchronization process has started for CEx. IOPn.MtcMon status: An error occurred activating Interconnect ESIx. IOPn.MtcMon status: IOPx was removed at the direction of IOPy. Hardware/Software This message is typically generated as a result of a hardware error on the Interconnect. Action • On the IOP reported in this message, use the Event Viewer to locate an IOPn.MtcMon status: An error occurred activating Interconnect ESIx.Event message. The ESI specified in this message is causing the condition. When this error occurs, it is applied to a threshold. When the threshold is exceeded, the Interconnect is faulted. • Manually repair the Interconnect, clear the faulted state, and allow the IOP to rejoin the configuration. 265
