Chapter 13 MtcMon Messages IOPn.MtcMon status: The CE MIC module revisions do not match. CE1 MIC module revision = x. CE2 MIC module revision = y. Variables x - the revision of the MIC module in CE1 y - the revision of the MIC module in CE2 Severity Error Description The revisions of the CE MICs do not match. The CE MICs must be the same revision for the CEs to synchronize. Hardware/Software This message is generated as a result of a hardware configuration error in the CEs. Action • Note the revision of each CE MIC. • To resolve this condition, replace one or both of the MICs so that they are using the identical revisions. (Refer to the HP NetServer AA 6200 Solution Release Notes (Release 3.0 Service Pack 1) for MIC revision information.) Refer to Chapter 7 in HP NetServer AA Solution Administrator's Guide for information about replacing a MIC. IOPn.MtcMon status: The CE MIC PCI base addresses x do not match. CE1 PCI base address = 0xy. CE2 PCI base address = 0xz. Variables x - the index into the PCI base address array y - the PCI device address of the MIC adapter in CE1 z - the PCI device address of the MIC adapter in CE2 Severity Error Description The message indicates that the MIC adapters in the CEs are not assigned identical PCI base addresses. The CEs cannot be synchronized unless the MIC adapter PCI base addresses match exactly. Hardware/Software This message is generated as a result of a hardware configuration error in the CEs. Action To resolve this condition, do one of the following: • Power down one of the CEs and reinstall the MIC adapter so that it is in the same slot and is assigned the same PCI base address as the active CE's MIC adapter. • Power down both CEs and reinstall the MIC adapters so that they are in the same slots and are assigned the same PCI base addresses. 280
