Chapter 4 MtcCEX Messages MtcCEX: Could not transition IOPx MIC port to DISABLED. Variables x - ID of the IOP associated with the MIC adapter port that failed. Severity Warning Description This message displays in a Windows NT blue screen on a monitor attached directly to a CE during CE operating system boot when the HP NetServer AA CE Transport cannot disable a MIC adapter port as requested by the IOP during the boot process. The CE Transport attempts to continue the boot process. Hardware/Software This message is most likely the result of a failure of the CE MIC adapter or an IOP MIC adapter. Action • If CE boot does not succeed immediately or after retrying, first replace the CE MIC adapter, and then replace the IOP MIC adapter. • If the problem persists, contact your service provider for assistance.
