Storage Settings You can manage the information and configuration related to both your microSD card and builtin device storage memory. You can choose to store items either in the built-in device storage memory or in the optional microSD card. For information about transferring files from a computer to either device storage option, see Transfer Files Between Your Device and a Computer. Device Memory SD Card Device Memory From this menu you can view the memory allocation for the memory. ► Press and tap > > Storage. Total Space Total space indicates the total size of the device's memory. This includes both available and used space information. Apps Applications displays the amount of memory occupied by running applications. Pictures, videos Pictures, videos displays the amount of memory occupied by pictures and videos stored on your device. Audio (music, ringtones, podcasts) Audio displays the amount of memory occupied by any audible files. Downloads Downloads displays the amount of memory occupied by files downloaded from an email account, the Internet, or other outside sources. Miscellaneous files Miscellaneous files displays the amount of memory dedicated to files such as information stored on the clipboard or downloaded application files.
